My journey to becoming the ‘insider’ in the region

I’m a former European lawyer with a background in International Relations from a prestigious US university, with a specialization in Ukraine, Russia and Central Asia. I later worked as an intern to a future US Secretary of State and as a lawyer at the European Commission. Moreover, I’ve learnt to speak over 10 languages to varying degrees, including Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian, Romanian and Polish, and served as the president of the International Polyglot Society.

For more than a decade I’ve been living primarily in New Europe (region between Germany and Russia in Europe) and primarily focusing on my regional picks that I feature in my content, so countries like Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Ukraine, Moldova and Kazakhstan.

Across New Europe’s emerging cities, I’ve built a life that blends intellectual stimulation, strong professional positioning and confident participation in some of the most dynamic social environments in the region — among ambitious men, and alluring, refined and culturally sophisticated women. With the right structural understanding and calibrated approach, outcomes that can feel difficult in North America or Western Europe become significantly more attainable here.
